Malcolm Le Maistre (of The Incredible String Band) returns for a rare hometown appearance — co-headlining with The Woolverstones, the rising alt-folk duo recently described as “a Folk Masterpiece” by Laurel Canyon Radio.

About the Artists:

Malcolm Le Maistre – A member of The Incredible String Band, Malcolm brings decades of poetic storytelling, experimental textures, and folk legacy to the stage. His influence on the folk scene is vast and enduring.

The Woolverstones – A harmony-rich duo whose debut album Grey Eyed Dandy (produced by Nick Drake collaborator John Wood) earned critical acclaim and airplay on both sides of the Atlantic. They’ve played stages from Cambridge Folk Festival to Budapest, supported folk legends like Leo O’Kelly, and recently featured on Fruits de Mer Records’ 2025 compilation In The Year 2025.

It promises to be a special, cross-generational night for Edinburgh’s live music scene.
