‘Afternoon Arias’ on 16th August

Just a few days to go until ‘Afternoon Arias’ in the New Town Church on Saturday 16th August at 1430.

Don’t forget to come along to this lovely concert of excerpts from opera by Purcell, Handel, Mozart and Beethoven!

We have had our first rehearsal for the show, and I can confidently predict that you will love the singing. Newcomers to my concerts, Emma Morwood and Magnus Walker, will join regular favourites Catherine Backhouse and myself, Brian Bannatyne-Scott, in a selection of arias and ensembles from some of the greatest operas ever written. Michał Gajzler will once again create miracles on the piano, conjuring up full orchestras with his mighty hands!

Most of the Fringe Box Office tickets have been sold, but there will be plenty on sale at the door of the New Town Church, George Street, Edinburgh EH2 2PA. Venue 111. Doors open at 1415 and the concert starts at 1430, finishing by 1600.

Don’t miss the best opera on the Fringe.
